How to apply for IIM Kozhikode? Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, adopts a three-staged selection process for its PGP 2024-2026 admissions. The details of the three stages are given below:

Stage 1: Registration of Candidates Meeting the IIM Kozhikode Admission Criteria

How to get into IIM Kozhikode? In Stage 1, the following minimum eligibility criteria will be applied to all those candidates who have opted for IIM Kozhikode. Only candidates obtaining a positive (greater than zero)scaled score in all sections of CAT 2024 will be considered.

• Those candidates with a Graduation Degree must secure a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate marks in their Graduation Degree. 
• Those candidates who do not have a Graduation Degree but completed CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS must secure a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks in CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS.
• Those candidates who have secured 50 percent aggregate marks in CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS and have a Graduation Degree must secure a minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks in their Graduation Degree.

Stage 2: Shortlisting for Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI)

• The Stage 2 process applies to all eligible candidates who have completed the registration process in Stage 1 after appearing for CAT.
• WAT and PI determine the candidates to be called for personal interview (PI).
• A shortlist of candidates in each category will be prepared based on an Aggregate Index Score (AIS).
• The AIS is computed based on the performance in CAT 2024, Class X, Class XII, Gender/Academic diversity criterion, and work experience.

Stage 3: Final Shortlisting and Merit Preparation

• The short-listed candidates must appear for a Written Ability Test (WAT) followed by a Personal Interview (PI). 
• The essay topic will be announced at the venue just before the start of the WAT session.
• During the PI process, the panel will evaluate each candidate's academic efforts and disposition, general awareness and social disposition, attitude, personality and communication, and quality of work experience.

IIM Kozhikode Placements 

IIM Kozhikode conducts the final placements for final-year students at the end of the second year. During final placements, companies are allotted slots based on a democratic slotting process.

The process will start in January. Students who get offers during lateral placements will be automatically signed out of the placement process and unavailable for final placements. A student is signed out on getting an offer during the final placement process.
