Admission to IIFT Delhi's courses is based on entrance exams, and applications must be submitted online, except for the Ph.D. program.

Admission to IIFT Delhi is based on entrance exams for all programs except certificate courses. Shortlisted candidates based on exam scores will be required to participate in additional selection rounds.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has changed its admission process for MBA (IB and BA) programs. Admission to these programmes will now be based on CAT scores, instead of the IIFT entrance exam which was used previously.
Only those candidates who are shortlisted based on the accepted exam score will be eligible to participate in the next round of the selection process.
Shortlisted candidates for the IIFT Delhi MBA course must participate in a Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). The PI is required for all programs except for the MA program.
The institute may publish a selection or cutoff list with the names of all eligible candidates after the selection rounds are completed.
Admission is offered to candidates who are selected from the final selection list. To confirm their admission, selected candidates must pay the required fee. The institute may verify documents prior to final seat allotment.
