Himachal Pradesh Judiciary Syllabus for Prelims 2024
As per the Himachal Judiciary Exam Pattern, the preliminary examination shall be an objective type exam consisting of the following 3 papers:
Civil Law-I paper
Civil Law-II paper
Criminal Law Paper
Each paper is conducted for 100 marks and is one hour long. Note that all three papers' examinations shall occur on the same day.

You translate a passage from Hindi to English, and this is worth 50 marks.
In total, this paper is worth 150 marks.
Himachal Pradesh Judiciary Syllabus for Paper 5 (Language)
In Paper 5, the questions are about the Hindi language. For Hindi, you don't need any specific books. The Hindi paper will have these parts:
Changing an English passage into Hindi - 30 marks
Writing an essay in Hindi on one of three topics - 50 marks
Doing language tasks like using idioms and fixing mistakes - 20 marks
