FCI Pre Requisites to Apply Online 2020
Candidates should keep the scanned copy for the documents-
- Photograph- The Passport-sized photograph should be 4.5 cm * 3.5 cm.
- Signature- The scanned signature should be made with blank ink ball pen
- Left thumb impression -It should be taken on white paper with black or blue ink.
- A handwritten declaration -It should be given on a white paper with black ink and has to be in the candidate's handwriting and in English only. If the declaration is written and uploaded by anybody else or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid. The declaration will say-
"I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required."
- The Visually Impaired candidates who cannot write may get the text of declaration typed and put their left-hand thumb impression below the typed declaration and upload the document as per specifications.
- Keep the necessary details/documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee.
- Have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process.
Steps to Fill FCI Application Form 2020
The steps to fill up the Application Form for FCI are as follows-
Step 1-Go to the official Website (www.fci.gov.in).
Step 2-Click on the FCI Recruitment 2020 option given in the " Latest News" on the homepage/
Step 3-Click on the FCI Application Form 2020 link and fill the Registration Form.
Step 4-The Registration Number and Password will get on the given mail id and valid mobile number.
Step 5-Login again with the Registration Number and Password to fill the FCI Application Form 2020.
Step 6-Fill the required details like- Contact Details, Personal Details, Qualification Details, etc.
Step 7-Upload the Photograph and Signature in the prescribed format.
Step 8-Pay the Application Fee in the form of Debit/ Credit Card, Mobile Wallet, Net Banking, etc
Step 9-Submit the duly filled FCI Apply Online 2020 Form and Save it. Download it for future reference.
FCI Application Fee 2020
Candidates can pay for the Application Form through- Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets/UPI.
- SC/ST/ PWD and Women candidates are exempted from Application Fee Payment.
- On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.
- Non-generation of 'E-Receipt' indicates PAYMENT FAILURE.
- On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to login again using their Provisional Registration Number and Password and repeat the process of payment.
- Once the payment is done, the amount will not be refunded.

FCI Apply Online 2020- Instruction for Uploading Photograph and Signature
The instructions that the candidates need to follow while filling up the FCI Apply Online 2020 Form are as follows-
- The candidates should ensure that the photographs, signature, handwritten documents, and thumb impressions are uploaded correctly as per the instruction mentioned in the official notification.
- If any candidate will upload any document wrong, the application will be rejected by the authority.
- Before applying for the online process, candidates will be required to scan the digital image of the photograph and signature as per the specification-
Photograph
- The picture of the candidate must be a recent passport size color picture.
- Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
- The size of the file should be between 20kb-50 kb.
- If the photo is not uploaded at the place of Photo Admission for Examination will be rejected/denied.
- Candidate should also ensure that photo is uploaded at the place of photo and signature at the place of a signature, otherwise, a candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
Signature
- A signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration Image:
- Candidates have to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
- The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink.
- The applicant has to write the declaration in English clearly on a white paper with black ink.
- The signature left thumb impression, and the handwritten declaration should be of the applicant and not by any other person.
- Signature/ Handwritten declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted.
- File type: jpg / jpeg, Dimensions: 140 x 60 pixels (preferred), File Size: Between 10 KB - 20 KB.
Left Thumb Impression
- Candidates have to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink.
- The handwritten declaration should be of the applicant and not by any other person.
- File type: jpg / jpeg.
- Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e 3 cm * 3 cm (Width * Height).
- File Size: 20 KB - 50 KB.
Handwritten Declaration
- A handwritten declaration text is written above.
- The handwritten declaration should NOT be written in "CAPITAL LETTERS" otherwise it shall not be accepted.
- The applicant has to write the declaration in English clearly on a white paper with black or blue ink.
- The handwritten declaration should be of the applicant and not by any other person.
- Handwritten Declaration-
- File type: jpg / jpeg.
- Dimensions: 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e 10 cm * 5 cm (Width * Height).
- File Size: 50 KB - 100 KB.
It must be noted that in order to clear the FCI Cut Off 2020, the candidates should prepare with the right strategies and also solve FCI Mock Tests as much as possible. It will increase their chances of scoring high in the exam and increase their speed and accuracy on the day of the exam.
