  • In the case of Ex-Servicemen, who have at least military service of 5 years, the maximum age limit is extended for five more years.

  • The Delhi Judicial Service Main Examination is an essay type with a total score of 850 marks.

Delhi Judiciary Viva Voce Details

  • The viva-voce round or the interview process is assigned 150 marks.
  • Only the candidates, securing at least 40% in both the written examinations and at least having an aggregate of 50% is selected. This is only applicable to the general category candidates.
  • Candidates under the reserved categories, including Scheduled Tribes, Physically Handicapped, and Scheduled Castes have to obtain 35% in both of the written examinations and have an aggregate of at least 45%.
  • A minimum of 50% marks is necessary for the candidates of the general category to be eligible for the Delhi Judiciary Service Exam.
  • The reserved category candidates have to secure at least 45% marks to be eligible for DJS Recruitment.
  • For the final scoring, marks secured in the main examination and the marks secured in the viva voce will be added to make the aggregate.

  • Delhi High Court makes separate announcements for the preliminary and the main examinations.
  • The final list of the candidates that are selected for the post will be displayed on the official website of the High Court of Delhi.
  • In the final list, the score given is an aggregate of the marks scored in the main examinations and the marks obtained in the viva voice. 
  • Marks scored in the preliminary examination are not counted while making the final list.

What is Delhi Judicial Service Exam Cut Off 2022?

The cut off marks are decided by the exam conducting authority to shortlist candidates for further stages. It is important for each candidate to score above the cut off marks. 

  • After the prelims, applicants need to clear the Mains exam with half the total imprints and 40% stamps in every one of the four papers.

  • The applications can be filed only in the English Language.

  • No request for rechecking and revaluation of papers would be entertained as the same is not provided for in the Delhi Judicial Services Rules.
  • Candidates suffering from disability to the extent of 40% or more and who have opted for availing the services of a scribe during the Examination are required to submit an affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 10/- duly attested by Notary, in the prescribed format.
  • Candidates who avail the facility of scribe and have been granted compensatory time in the Preliminary Examination should note that they will not be allowed to read the Question Paper or mark answers and only the scribe will be allowed to read out the questions and mark the answers in the OMR answer sheet.
  • A candidate, if declared successful in the Main Examination (Written) must send two sets of self-attested copies of the following documents to the Joint Registrar(Exams-DHJS & DJS), High Court of Delhi within 10 days of the declaration of the result accompanied by a covering letter indicating his/her Roll No. and Application Number.
