‘AAINA Dashboard for Cities’ portal launched
- The ‘AAINA Dashboard for Cities’ portal www.aaina.gov.in has been made live by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) on 13th November 2023.
- The Dashboard will present the data submitted by the ULBs on the basis of indicators across five broad pillars namely, (i) Political & Administrative Structure, (ii) Finance, (iii) Planning, (iv) Citizen Centric Governance and (v) Delivery of Basic Services.
PM Modi to Launch PM-PVTG Mission and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas
- On November 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch the PM-PVTG Development Mission.
- The launch ceremony is strategically planned to take place in Jharkhand’s Khunti district, specifically after a visit to Ulihatu village, the birthplace of Birsa Munda.
33rd Conference of the WOAH Regional Commission for Asia and Pacific in New Delhi
- India is playing host to the 33rd Conference of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) Regional Commission for Asia and the Pacific. The event, slated from November 13 to 16, 2023, is unfolding in the city of New Delhi.
- Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Shri Parshottam Rupala, will lead the inauguration and conclusion ceremonies.

- The significance of November 14 lies in the celebration of the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, the co-discoverer of insulin alongside Charles Herbert Best in 1922.
- Established in 1991 by the International Diabetes Foundation (IDF) and the World Health Organization (WHO), World Diabetes Day gained official recognition by the United Nations in 2006.
