For CMAT eligibility colleges are recognized by the central government, seat reservations are as follows:

Each category will have a 5% reservation for the candidates who have a disability of 40% or more as mentioned in the Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016.
For the CMAT eligible colleges that are either aided/supported or recognized by the State Governments, the reservation policy of that State shall be implemented.

The National Testing Agency does not participate in the counseling process of CMATeligible colleges. There are over 1000 CMAT eliggible colleges that accept CMAT scores.

As outlined inRPwD Act, Section 2(t), a Disabled Person (DP) is one who has a long-term physical, mental, or intellectual impairment which, when combined with any barrier, makes it difficult for such person to actively and fully take part in all spheres of society in an equal manner that can, otherwise, be accepted.
Regarding section 2(s) of the RPwD act, 2016, “persons with benchmark disabilities”, means a person with at least 40% of a certain disability, but with somewhat uncertainty regarding specified disability, one that cannot be measured because of its very nature. It also includes persons who are disabled in a way that can be measured and determined by the certificating authority.
The “specified disabilities”, which are included in the Schedule of the RPwD Act, are as follows:
