AILET PG Tie Breaker Rule 2025 Explained
When multiple candidates achieve the same score in the AILET PG exam, the "Tie Breaker Rule" is used to determine their rankings. Here’s a simplified breakdown of this rule:
Definition of a Tie in AILET PG Results:
A tie occurs when two or more candidates score identical marks in the AILET PG exam.
Example: If Raju, Farhan, and Rancho all score 85 marks, they are in a tie.
Need for a Tie Breaker Rule:
Ensures fairness in the admission process.
Helps prioritize candidates when there are limited seats.
AILET PG Tie Breaker Rule for 2025:
Senior Age:
The older candidate is given preference over the younger one.
Example: If Amar (25 years), Akbar (24 years), and Anthony (23 years) have the same marks, Amar will be ranked higher.
Computerized Draw of Lots:
If candidates have the same marks and age, a computerized draw randomly selects one.
Example: If Amy and Bob both scored 85 marks and are both 25 years old, the computer might randomly select Amy over Bob or vice versa.
By following these steps, the AILET PG Results ensure a fair and unbiased ranking system for candidates with identical scores.
