XLRI releases the response sheet, provisional answer key and final Answer key before releasing the XAT result and scorecards for everyone. Applicants can check their responses and analyse their strengths and weaknesses.

The flow of events before the release of the XAT 2025 exam results date and after the XAT exam date can be described in the sequence below:

XAT Exam Results 2025: Steps to Raise Objections

Once the candidates analyse their response sheet, they have the chance to raise objections before the release of the final answer key and before the XAT exam results date if they believe that the answer in the provisional key provided by the official authority is incorrect.

They need to follow the steps given below:

Step 3	Click on the “Raise Objection Tab”
Step 4	Entered the required details like question paper ID, question ID, etc.

Step 7	Click on the submit button.

Note* Candidates should remember that they can raise objections only until the predefined time before the XAT exam result date given by the exam conducting authorities and such requests won't be entertained after the release of the final answer sheet and XAT results.

The XAT Exam Results 2025: The XAT Selection Process

The Selection Process based on the XAT result starts after the results are announced. The selection process is almost similar to that with CAT exam 2024.

• XLRI does not offer unified counselling.
• Institutes that accept XAT scores handle counselling differently, depending on their selection criteria.
• The selection process consists of different rounds of Group Discussion(GD), Group Exercise(GE), and Personal Interview (PI).
• Those who clear the cut-off for their respective institute get forward to other rounds of GD-PI.
• For some institutes, the final merit list is prepared by adding the scores from the GK sections, while some colleges don’t consider it.
• However, until now, the scores of the Essay section have been considered only by XLRI and no other institute.

The XAT Exam Results: XLRI Cut-Off for 2025 (Expected)

XLRI Jamshedpur offers two programs for applicants: PGDM - Business Management (PGDM-BM) and PGDM -Human Resource Management (PGDM-HRM), while XLRI Delhi NCR currently offers only PGDM(BM).
