• Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has reduced the number of Vacancies in 2022 to just 13 as opposed to 29 vacancies in 2019.
• The highest number of vacancies was reported in 2018, whereas the lowest vacancies for the general category were released in 2020.
• Notably, no vacancies are released for either SC or ST category in 2024.

To apply for UKPCS Judicial Recruitment Exam, you must have a Bachelor of Law from a University established by Law in Uttarakhand or by the another University of India, and you must be a Citizen of India.

Age Limit: (As of 01/07/2023)

• The minimum age requirement for you to appear for Uttarakhand Judicial Service is 22 Years, and the maximum is 36 Years.
• And the age relaxation for SC, ST, and OBC Categories is extra as per Recruitment Rules in UKPSC Rules.

Reservation Criteria for UKPCS Civil Judge (JUNIOR DIVISION) Exam 2024

As per the official notification, the Uttarakhand High Court Uttarakhand provides for a reservation for those belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories as per the rules of the Indian Government.
Although, as per Uttarakhand's reservation norms, only those who are domicile of Uttarakhand and belong to the SC, ST, OBC, or EWS Category are eligible for reservation for the UKPCS Exam.  
This year there is 01 seat each for people belonging to OBC or EWS Category, but there is no vacancy for SC or ST Category.
