As per the Uttar Pradesh Judiciary Pattern, the local laws hold great importance as Paper VI, i.e. Penal, Revenue, and Local Laws, marked for about 200, is totally about the Local laws.
All the questions asked in this exam are descriptive, and a total of 3 hours is given to complete the examination.
Also, questions from local laws are asked not just in the mains but also in interviews.
