On 1 February 2023, Telangana High Court released the official notification of the Telangana Judicial services to recruit the candidates for the Civil Judge cadre.

Through the Telangana Judicial Services Exam 2023, 10 vacancies are released, of which 8 will be filled through direct recruitment and 02 by transfer.
Interested candidates should have attained 23 years of age and not exceed 26 years as of 01 July 2023 to apply for the Telangana Judicial Services Exam 2023.
Candidates must complete the judiciary application form of the Telangana state on or before the last date.
As per the Judiciary Exam Pattern, the final selection of the candidate is based on the marks scored in the written exam and Viva-voce.

Vacancies Under Recruitment by Transfer

Telangana HC CJ Recruitment shall be subject to the Rule of Reservation in favour of the candidates belonging to SC, ST, socially and educationally backward class, women and physically handicapped as per the Telangana State Rules 2017.
The reserved category candidates will be treated as OC candidates if their caste is not recognized as a socially and educationally backward class in the State of Telangana.
The High Court has the authority to increase or decrease the number of vacancies after the release of the notification.
TS Judiciary Salary 2023
The PCS J Salary of a High Court judge ranges between INR 77,840 - INR 1,36,520 per month.

Direct Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Nationality
A candidate must be a citizen of India to be eligible for Telangana Judicial Court Recruitment 2023.
Candidates are not eligible if they are dismissed from service by any High Court, Government, and Statutory or Local Authority.
Also, candidates having more than one living spouse, convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude, directly or indirectly influence the recruitment authority by any means of their candidature, marries knowing a person having a spouse, or have been permanently debarred by the High Court or Union Public Service Commission or any State Public Service Commission or any other recruiting authority are not eligible to appear for the upcoming exam.
All the eligible candidates applying for the post of Civil Judge must be able to read and write the Telugu language.
Age Limit
Candidates in the OC category should have obtained 25 years of age and not exceeded 35 years.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, socially and educationally backward classes must not have exceeded 40 years of age as of 01 July 2023.
Educational Qualification
Must have been practicing as an Advocate or Pleader in the High Court or Courts working under the control of the High Court for a period of not less than 3 years as on the date of Notification for recruitment to the post i.e., 01.02.2023.
Candidate shall produce certificate of practice obtained from the concerned Bar Association as proof.
The candidate must be a law graduate and have secured a minimum of 60% marks and 55% for reserved category candidates. They must have obtained a Degree in Law within three years before the date of Notification.
Aspirants must have obtained the age of 23 years and should not exceed 26 years. As per the notification, five years of age relaxation is provided for SC/ST/socially and educationally backward class categories.
A person who has enrolled as an advocate but does not have three years of practice would be eligible to appear in the recruitment for the post of Civil Judge.

Click on the "New Registration" tab
Enter all the details and click on the "Register" button
New User ID and password will be generated, and the same will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Re-login to the website using the Registration ID and password
On the Home page, click on the "All" section tab
A drop-down list will be displayed on the screen. Candidates must click on the "Application Form" link for Civil Judge.
Fill in all the details correctly, i.e., personal information, qualification details, preference, and other details.
The next step is uploading the documents in the specified format.
Then, pay the application fee as per the category.

Telangana Judiciary Application Fee
The candidates belonging to OC/ BC categories have to pay an amount of Rs. 1000, whereas the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories have to pay Rs.500 as an application fee.
SC/ST candidates other than Telangana State have to pay Rs. 1000 as an application fee.

Telangana Judiciary Exam Pattern 2023
As per the notification, the TS Judiciary Exam pattern consists of three stages:
Preliminary Exam
Written Exam
Viva-voce
Preliminary Exam
To shortlist the candidates, the High Court will conduct the screening test.
The test consists of 100 objective-type questions, and each question carries one mark.
The total time duration of the exam is 2 hours.
The candidates scoring above 40% of marks in the screening test will get shortlisted for the written examination.
Written Exam
The written exam consists of three papers: Civil Law, Criminal Law, and English.
The written exam tests the candidates' proficiency and knowledge in all three subjects.
Each paper consists of 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks.
The duration of each paper is 3 hours.
Vice-voce
Candidates who have secured more than 60% of marks in the written exam are eligible to appear for the Vice-voce.
The reserved category candidates must have scored more than 50% of marks to appear for the Vice-voce.
Viva-Voce, which is qualifying in nature, is conducted for 50 marks.

Telangana Judiciary Admit Card 2023
Admit card is an important document to be carried to the exam hall without fail.
Candidates can download the admit card only from the official website.
Aspirants must enter their registration number and password to download the admit card.
This hall ticket must be preserved safely until the last stage of the selection process.
It is advised to take a 3-4 coloured printout of the admit card for better clarity and visibility of the candidate's image.

The computer-based test will be held in the following centres, and the candidates have to opt for any three centres in the order of preference of their allotment. However, the high court reserves the right to allot the centre other than the centre chosen by the applicant.
