The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the tentative vacancy list for the year 2019-20. Candidates who are appearing for the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D skill test and document verification can now check the vacancies. Also, SSC has released an option form for entering the candidate's desired posts in the order of preference.
SSC Stenographer Exam is conducted to fill in numerous vacancies of Grade C and D Stenographer posts in various Government Organizations/ Ministries or Departments.
Compared to the previous year SSC Stenographer Vacancy list, this year SSC has released a less number of vacancies. There are a total of 1606 vacancies released which includes both SSC Stenographer Grade C and D. Candidates can fill the SSC Stenographer Post Preference Option Form and take the form along with them during Skill test and document verification without fail. The skill test includes a dictation for 10 minutes in English and Hindi as opted by the candidate. The speed for SCS Stenographer Grade C post must be 100 wpm while 80 wpm for SSC Stenographer Grade D post.
