Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India. It is a computer-based exam that is conducted every December. 

The SNAP entrance exam for an MBA is necessary to gain admission to 17 colleges' MBA programs offered by the Institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU].

SNAP MBA Exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria

There are four categories that students can apply under: 

• Foreign National (FN) 
• Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI)
• Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
• Non-Resident Indian (NRI).

Foreign nationals, OCI, and PIO students must take an English Proficiency Test. They can choose between IELTS or IELA. To meet the requirements, a minimum score of 6 is needed for IELTS, while a minimum score of band 4 is required for IELA. NRI students must have taken one of these two qualifying exams outside India.

• The candidate should have completed at least 3 years of Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in any discipline. (Note* Specific eligibility criteria will apply to specialised MBA programs).
• The candidates who are in the final year of Graduation can also apply for SNAP 2024

SNAP MBA Exam 2024: Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

Before filling out the SNAP 2024 registration form, go through the major SNAP 2024 guidelines related to SNAP entrance exam for MBA pattern: 

• The SNAP Test 2024 will be computer-based and will last 60 minutes.
• The test will be conducted on three different dates in December 2024.
• The specific timings for the SNAP Test 2024 will be indicated on the SNAP admit card.
• The SNAP exam format will consist of multiple-choice questions, each with four options, with a 25% negative marking for each incorrect answer.
• Though every effort is made to create an error-free question paper, the Scrutiny Committee will address any detected errors after the examination.
• Candidates can take up to three tests for the SNAP exam, and their final score will be based on their highest score from all attempts.
• The questions will cover specific topics to ensure fairness and consistency across all three tests, and the distribution of questions across sections will be normalized according to the difficulty level.
• Any use of unfair means or malpractice will result in immediate disqualification from the admission process of SIU.
• Furthermore, any use of unfair means or malpractice at any stage of the SNAP selection process will disqualify the candidate from future SNAP attempts.

SNAP MBA Exam 2024: Marking Scheme

The SNAP MBA entrance exam 2024 comprises 60 questions divided into three sections: general English, Quantitative, and Analytical and logical reasoning. Each correct answer is awarded +1 mark, and each wrong answer results in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
