NRA CET for 10th Pass

Before applying for the exam, ensure to meet the required eligibility criteria for a particular post you wish to apply for. The CET exam for the 10th pass will begin from September 2021. 10th passed students can apply for the exam under the level 3 category. 

  • Ensure to fill the application form without any errors on or before the last date. You can fill the form only in online mode.
  • There will be no fixed limit to apply for the CET Exam for 10th pass candidates. However, there will be an upper age limit that you must meet to appear for the exam.

NRA CET for 10th pass Preparation Tips 2021

Candidates preparing for the Common Eligibility Test can follow the simple NRA CET Online Preparation tips provided by our experts to enhance their preparation for the upcoming exam.

  • Before starting the preparation, go through the complete exam pattern and syllabus in and out.
  • Then, prepare a proper preparation strategy that covers all the topics as per the latest syllabus.
  • Start with easy topics and later move to tricky topics. This will help increase your confidence levels.
  • Reading the newspaper regularly will help improve your grammar & vocabulary.
  • Try to learn at least 15-20 new words and use them in your daily life.
  • Allot at least 2 hours to practice Quantitative Aptitude as it is considered to be the most challenging section of the paper. Understand the concepts in-depth and make sure to simply the complex equations to get the correct results.
  • The arithmetic topic will be calculative, hence solve the Quantitative Aptitude Quiz regularly to know which type of questions can be asked.
  • Generally, English is divided into 4 categories i.e., Vocabulary, Grammar, Reading Comprehension, and Verbal Ability. For reading comprehension, ensure to read the passage carefully. 
  • While preparing for the reasoning section, candidates must try to analyze the given question or problem carefully rather than just reading it. 
  • Solve previous year question papers to know the difficulty level of the paper and type of questions asked in the exam.
  • Take up mock tests regularly to increase your speed, time management skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • While preparing for the GK section, make sure you give time to both Static G.K. and current affairs. Also, go through the Daily Current Affairs to get better insights about National and International issues.

Important details of CET for 10th pass

  • The CET exam for the 10th pass is conducted in online mode by the NRA.
  • The Common Eligibility Test will be a single prelims exam that will be held to recruit candidates for IBPS, SSC, and RRB posts.
  • NRA CET for 10th will be conducted twice a year. Therefore, it is a great opportunity for candidates who are willing to get a government job.
  • The NRA will conduct the CET exam separately for graduates, 12th pass, and 10th pass candidates.
  • It is noted that the CET score is valid for three years.
  • The CET score will be shared with all the central government agencies.

NRA CET for 10th Pass Eligibility Criteria 2021

Nationality

  • A candidate must be a citizen of India

Age Limit

The minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age is 23 years for candiadtes who are applying for the CET exam under the level 3 category.

Age Relaxation

The age relaxation will be provided for EWS, SC/ST, and PwD candidates as per the government rules. Let us have a look at the table below to know the age relaxation for each category.

SSC GD Constable Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification 

Candidates who have to apply for GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA, and riflemen) should have passed 10th class or equivalent from the affiliated board.

Age Limit 

Candidates should be between 18 to 23 years to apply for SSC GD Exam. Those who belong to reserved categories will have age relaxation benefit. The age limit will be calculated with reference to 01/08/2019.

Nationality

A candidate must be a citizen of India.

RRB Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification 

Candidates willing to apply for the govt exam for 10th pass must-have passed 10th class with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

Age Limit 

The Candidates age should be between 15 to 24 years to apply for the exam. Those who belong to reserved categories will have age relaxation benefit as per the government norms.

Nationality

A candidate must be a citizen of India.

NRA CET 10th Pass Exam Pattern 2021

The Common Eligibility Test will include four sections namely: Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness, and Reasoning. 

  • It is expected that the CET exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks.
  • Each section consists of 25 questions and each question carries 2 marks.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrongly answered question.
  • The time duration of the exam is 60 minutes i.e., 1 hour.
