How Do You Fill Out the NMIMS NPAT Exam 2025 Application Form?

Before you proceed with the NPAT registration process, ensure you meet the NPAT eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting authorities.

The NPAT application process is a four-step process that involves online registration, filling up the NPAT application form, uploading photos & signatures, and application fee payment.

Step 1: Initial Registration

  • Visit the official website or click on the link- https://apply.nmims.edu/
  • To complete the registration process for NPAT 2025, click on “Apply Now” and create an account.
  • Candidates can choose the NPAT application form and complete the NPAT registration process. 

Step 2: Select Test category/school/Program/Preferences

  • Select the Test category (NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS CET / NMIMS-LAT)/ School / Program and campus preferences based on eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates can select multiple test categories / multiple schools and multiple program preferences.
  • Candidates can select multiple attempts for each of the categories.

Step 3: Pay the NPAT application form fee and complete the process

  • The NPAT registration fees are based on the number of Schools selected for each test category and the total retakes.
  • Only paid candidates will be allowed to schedule the exam.
  • Candidates can choose one main and two retakes for each examination category.
  • In all, a candidate will be given a chance to appear a total 3 of times in whichever exam he/she wishes to appear.
  • Candidates should not register multiple times for the same exam category; otherwise, it will block the candidate from admission.

Step 4: Select the Test centre / Test date

  • After the successful NPAT registration and payment, the candidate can schedule the exams by choosing the test date/s and test centre.
  • Test dates / Test centre availability will be subject to Test centre capacity.
  • It will be available to the candidate modestly on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • The candidate has to schedule his / her examination.

Note:

  • Maximum Retakes: Aspirants can undertake a maximum of two retakes in any chosen category. This indicates three tries (one primary test + two retakes). The highest score you achieved across all attempts will be considered for the merit process of the school you selected. 
  • Incorporating New Schools: After finishing your primary exam, you cannot include a new school in the same category for a retake. Nonetheless, you may sign up for another test category if required. 
  • Early Exam Slot Reservation Advised: To prevent last-minute problems, candidates are encouraged to book their exam slots at the earliest opportunity. Preferred time slots might not always be accessible, and NMIMS will not take responsibility for issues related to slot availability. 
  • No Changes or Cancellations: Once confirmed, changes or cancellations are absolutely prohibited. Schedule your exam dates wisely! 

NPAT 2025 Application Fee

The NPAT Exam registration fee can be paid only online. You can pay the application fee using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

The basic application fee is Rs. 2000 for one school.

However, the NPAT registration form fee will vary if you apply to multiple schools.

Candidates intending to reattempt the NPAT exam must pay an extra fee that matches the application fee for every try.

Documents Required to Fill NMIMS NPAT 2025 Application Form 

You must keep the following documents handy while filling out the NPAT online registration form.

Name  Same as in-class 10/SSC certificate/ name on the passport.
DOB Date of birth in the format of date/ month and year. This must be selected from the calendar next to the text box.
Gender Select the correct gender asked in the NPAT Login
Enter Mobile number A functional mobile number that can be used for future communication.
Enter Email ID A functional email ID of yourself or your parents/siblings/relatives can be used to send the NPAT registration number and password details.
Enter the year of passing. Enter details of the year of passing the qualifying examination.
Father’s / mother’s name Enter the name of either parent as written in the class 10 certificate DOB certificate.
School Applied For You can choose multiple schools, but the NPAT application fee may vary based on the selection.
Course / Program Applied for You can select the program and the school you are interested in joining. You can select more than one school and more than one program in the school.
Exam City and Date There will be two dates given. You can select one of your choices. You can choose up to 3 exam centres.
Education Qualification Details of marks must be filled in percentages for classes 10, 12, and graduation.
Correspondence address Details of home address/ local address have to be supplied. This will be used for sending letters or communication.

NMIMS NPAT Application Form Correction 

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies shall open the correction window for the application form for NPAT 2025. 

Note- You will be allowed to make changes only in specific fields.

Important Instructions with regards to Application and scheduling examination

Single Registration for Each Category 

  • Candidates may register for every test category at a single time. Any repeated registrations will be denied, regardless of whether the exam has been completed. Both registrations may be cancelled at NMIMS's discretion at any point in the admission process. 

Selection of Test Center and Date 

  • At the time of registration, candidates must thoughtfully select their desired test centre and exam date. Once chosen, modifications are prohibited in any situation. 

No Changes or Cancellations 

  • Applicants must attend the exam on the predetermined date and time. Changing the exam/registration date or cancelling it is not allowed. 

Counselling & Admission process for Indore / Hyderabad / Chandigarh Campus seats

To facilitate admissions without requiring candidates to travel to Mumbai, NMIMS has scheduled campus counselling rounds at the following locations:

Indore, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh Campuses

  • Phase 1: Tuesday, April 22, 2025
  • Phase 2: Monday, June 23, 2025

This is exclusively for candidates interested in securing admission to these three campuses.

Mumbai, Shirpur, and Navi Mumbai Campuses

Counselling for these campuses (including Indore, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh for those who miss the above dates) will be conducted as per the schedule mentioned in the important dates section.
This initiative ensures a smooth admission process while minimizing travel requirements for candidates.

NMIMS Selection Process

Merit List Criteria

The merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the NMIMS-NPAT exam. The institute's decision regarding the merit list will be final and binding, and no inquiries or correspondence will be entertained.

Notes:

  • Candidates must update their 12th or equivalent exam marks (or predicted scores) after admission.
  • Failure to update accurate information in the online registration form will lead to exclusion from the merit list.
  • The candidates are responsible for ensuring that the correct marks are entered.

Admission Cancellation Policy

If, at any stage, the submitted 12th or equivalent marks are found to be incorrect, the candidate’s admission will be cancelled. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as per NMIMS' prescribed refund policy.

Cancellation of Admission & Withdrawal 

  • If a candidate intends to withdraw or cancel their admission voluntarily, they must proceed via the official portal: NMIMS Admission Cancellation. 
  • Any attempt to influence admission through canvassing will lead to disqualification. 

Eligibility and Admission Confirmation 

  • Applicants need to make sure they fulfil the eligibility requirements before applying. If, at any point, a candidate is deemed ineligible or has submitted false information, their admission will be revoked, and a refund will be issued according to NMIMS refund policies. 
  • The essential requirement to launch a program is 10 candidates. 

Scholarly Prerequisites 

  • Candidates are required to finish all their subject tests before the start of their NMIMS program. All outstanding exams must be completed before the course starts. 
  • If a candidate is conditionally accepted but their final mark sheet is not accessible during admission, they must submit it as soon as the results are announced. 
  • If the final scores fail to satisfy the necessary eligibility requirements, admission will be voided even after the course commences, and NMIMS regulations will handle the refund. 

Temporary Admission Guidelines 

  • Admission will stay provisional until all required documents are submitted, checked, and authorized by NMIMS. If a candidate is deemed ineligible at any point, the admission will be cancelled, irrespective of whether the course has started.
