MIT Institute of Design Eligibility 2023 for UG Program
Age:
You must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st July of the year of admission.
There is no upper age limit for admission to the UG program.
You must have a minimum of 50% marks in your Bachelor's degree to be eligible for the MIT Institute of Design PG program.
If you belong to the SC/ST/PwD category, you must have a minimum of 45% marks in your Bachelor's degree.
Design Aptitude Test:
You need to appear for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) the MIT Institute of Design conducted.
The DAT consists of two parts: Part A and Part B.
Part A is a written exam of 100 marks for 3 hours.
Part B is a studio examination, Personal Interview, and portfolio presentation. The studio examination typically includes doodling, 3D modelling, and observation tests. Studio examinations at the PG level are tailored to each design speciality.
