The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Legal (MH CET Law) is a state-level test administered by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, for admissions to law degrees provided at participating law institutions in Maharashtra. 

The MH CET legal test is two hours long and is administered online using a computer. There are 150 multiple-choice questions in the exam. 

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) has published the MH CET Law 2023 test dates for the five-year and three-year LLB programs. MHCET Law 2023 will be held on April 1, 2023, for the five-year LLB program and two days - May 2 and 3, 2023 - for the three-year LLB course.

The entrance test shortlists law students for admission to 10,920 seats in the 5-year LLB program and about 16,420 seats in the 3-year LLB courses program.

Selection process for MH CET Law participating institutes 2023

• Admission to participating MH CET legal institutes is primarily based on merit. Candidates who pass the MH CET legal test must undergo counselling.
• When enrolling for the Centralized Admission Process, candidates must pick the MH CET law 2022 participating institutes in the order of preference (CAP).
• After being given a seat, the candidate must report to the selected institution to complete the admission procedure and pay the course fee.
