JIPMAT is an entrance exam that is conducted effectively from 2021 by various IPMs of India for providing admission to their five-year IPM programs. This is very good news for students who are not going to take the scholastic aptitude exam due to their board exams.

JIPMAT is a Joint Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (JIPMAT) that is conducted for providing admissions to three newly launched IPM programs by IM Jammu, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Bodhgaya. National Testing Agency is responsible for conducting the JIPMAT exam.
Based on the cut-off score, you will be given the freedom to choose a particular IPM program as per their choice.

IIM Jammu was the first pioneer to introduce the JIPMAT exam.
As per the recent announcement, 60% of the weightage would be given to the JIPMAT score, 15% weightage for 10th Marks, 15% weightage for 12th Marks, and 10% for gender diversity for the selection of the student to the respective IPM program.
IPM Ranchi would consider the JIPMAT score along with SAT and IPM aptitude test scores as per the recent announcement.
Along with JIPMAT, students have to attend a written ability test (WAT) and a personal interview (PI) to get admission at IPM Ranchi. Composite scores of 10th marks and 12th marks will be considered along with these three for evaluation of the student.

IPM Bodhyaha stated that 70% weightage is given for JIPMAT scores and 30% weightage for the personal interview for providing admissions to IPM programs.

The official notification of the JIPMAT exam has been released on the official website. To apply for the exam, you must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent examination with a 60% aggregate.
As per the notification, students appearing in the 2021 board exams can also apply for the exam.
The selection process of the student is based on the marks scored in the aptitude test, WAT, and personal interview.

In order to fill the application form, you should have passed 10+2/XII/HSC examination in arts/commerce/science stream with an aggregate of 60% marks in 2019, 2020, or appearing in 2021.
However, 5% relaxation is provided in case if you belong to SC/ST/PwD category.
Also, note that you must have passed 10th class with an aggregate of 60% or more after the year 2017. If you belonging to SC/ST/PwD category, then your aggregate percentage should be 55% in class 10.
You can apply for JIPMAT 2021 only through online mode. According to the notification, submitting more than one application form will not be accepted by the exam conducting body.

The JIPMAT Exam 2021 will be held in online mode (Computer Based Test). According to the JIPMAT Exam Pattern, the question paper consists of 100 multiple-choice questions from quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and verbal ability and each question carry 4 marks.
The exam is conducted in the English language only. The time duration of the test is 2.30 hours i.e. 150 minutes.
