The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the JEE Main Session 2 Paper 2 result for B.Arch and B.Planning on 19th May 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results by visiting the official website.

JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2024

Students who appeared for the session 2 exams conducted on 12th April can check their JEE Main Paper 2 result for 2024 by visiting the official website. With a total of 36707 students appearing for JEE Main B.Arch session 2 and 16228 students appearing for B.Planning, the competition was tough this year.

JEE MAIN Counselling 2024

The JEE Main counselling for 2024 comprises three processes: JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority), CSAB NEUT (Central Seat Allocation Board) (northeastern states and union territories), and CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board), SFTI (Self-Financed Technical Institutes).

  • The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA) runs combined counselling and seat allotment procedure for all the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), NITs (National Institutes of Technology), and other centrally funded technical institutes (CFTIs).
  • CSAB NEUT is directed for seats restrained in AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved institutes in India that are not enclosed under CSAB for the North Eastern States & Union Territories (NEUT).
  • CSAB SFTI is directed for admission to 18 Self-Funded Technical Institutes.

JEE Main Counselling Procedure

  • Candidates who cannot attempt JEE Advanced but have cleared JEE Main are eligible for seats in institutions such as NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
  • Candidates who have cleared the JEE Main 2024 must register online and choose their preferred college and course.
  • Seat allotments will be made online based on the candidate’s rank, category, availability of seats, and other factors.
  • After the seats are allotted, the candidates must report to the allotted institute for document verification and fee payment.
