IIM Amritsar has come up with its IIM Amritsar Integrated Program in Management for 2025 on 4th Feb 2025.

This program is a little bit unique from our traditional IPM offerings like IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak.

It is specially designed for students who are passionate about economics, finance, and mathematics.

About IIM Amritsar IPM Program 2025

The all-new IIM Amritsar's IPM Program welcomes young and talented individuals to embark on a new impactful educational journey.

Students participating in the program gain essential industry experience via an internship after the 3rd year, widening their practical knowledge of finance and economics.

The program offers a smooth pathway to the MBA, enabling students to bag a dual degree in their 4th and 5th years without having to take the CAT exam.

Here are the goals for the first 3 years:

Eligibility Criteria for IPM at IIM Amritsar

1. Age Limit

• Candidates should not exceed more than 20 years as of July 1, 2025.
• For SC/ST/PwD candidates, a 5-year relaxation benefit is provided.
• That means the maximum age for them is 25 years as of July 1, 2025

2. Educational Qualification

• Applicants wishing to register for the IIM Amritsar IPM 2025 program must have done their Class XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025, with Maths as a compulsory subject.

3. Minimum Percentage Requirement

• General/EWS Category: A minimum of 60% is required in Class X (SSC) and Class XII (HSC).
• NC-OBC Category: A minimum of 55% is required in Class X and Class XII.
• SC/ST/PwD Category: A minimum of 50% is required in Class X and Class XII.

4. Percentage Equivalence Certificates (For schools that provide letter grades or CGPA instead of percentage marks for Secondary and Higher Secondary levels)

5. Category Certificate (For NC-OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwD candidates, issued by a competent authority)

How to Apply for the IIM Amritsar IPM Program?

Step 1: Candidates must apply for IPMAT 2025, conducted by IIM Indore.

Step 2: The test evaluates quantitative ability and verbal ability in English.

Step 3: For registration and exam details, visit www.iimidr.ac.in.

Step 4: Refer to the IPMAT advertisement on IIM Indore's website for official guidelines.

Admission Process 

Stage 1: Candidates must appear for the IPMAT exam conducted by IIM Indore.
Stage 2: Based on IPMAT scores, shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The minimum ATS, based on category, will be set by the admission committee.
Stage 3: The IIM Amritsar interview will assess candidates on academics, goals, current affairs, and other details.
Stage 4: A final merit list will be released, determining admission based on academic profile, communication skills, general awareness, and extracurricular activities.

Weightage Distribution 

A category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the composite score, calculated using the following weightage:

Aptitude Test Score (ATS)	70%
Personal Interview (PI) Score	25%
Gender Diversity Factor	5%

Calculation of ATS:

Quantitative Ability (MCQ) Score × 30

Quantitative Ability (SA) Score × 30

Verbal Ability Score × 40

Total ATS = Sum of the above scores

International Applicant Criteria & Selection Process

1. Total Seats Available: 5

2. Age Limit: Candidates must be 20 years or younger as of July 1, 2025.

3. Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed or be appearing for Class XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025.
• Mathematics is a mandatory subject.

4. Minimum Percentage Requirement:

• General/EWS Category: Minimum 60% in Class X (SSC) and Class XII (HSC).
• NC-OBC Category: Minimum 55% in Class X and Class XII.
• SC/ST/PwD Category: Minimum 50% in Class X and Class XII.

5. Valid SAT Score:
