IIM Amritsar Admission Criteria: CAT Cut Off 2024

IIM Amritsar Selection Criteria: PI Shortlisting 2025

After registering for IIM Amritsar admission, the candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage, which is a personal interview round. 

During the IIM Amritsar PI round, the panel will evaluate each candidate's academic background, quality of work experience and other personal traits.

The next stage of screening is done on the following parameters:

The CAT 2024 aspirants selected for the next round will be informed via email. This email will have the date and the venue for the PI. The candidates must appear for the personal interview round on the scheduled date.

IIM Amritsar Admission Criteria 2025: Final Selection

The third stage is the final stage for getting selected for the IIM Amritsar admission for the MBA 2025-2027 batch.

Once the PI round is over, the marks will be considered for selecting the candidates for admission. These final scores for IIM Amritsar admission will be calculated on the basis of the following parameters:

The final selection for the IIM Amritsar MBA programme will be based on their pre-PI scores and post-PI scores. 

The aggregate composite score for each candidate is calculated based on the following formula-

Aggregate Score = 0.6 X Pre-PI Score + 0.4 X Post-PI Score

The authorities will consider both the marks and select the required number of candidates from each category or the IIM Amritsar admission cycle.

IIM Amritsar Selection 2025: Important Points to Consider

Here are some of the important points that the candidates should consider while applying to IIM Amritsar admission process 2025 batch:

Work experience counts for 10%. It must be finished by April 30, and only experiences longer than six months are valid.

The final selection call list of the IIM Amritsar admission will be prepared by the end of May 2025. 

Candidates who are selected must accept their admission offer by submitting a completed acceptance form along with a refundable fee of INR 50,000.

Note* A minimum number of candidates will be kept on the waiting list for the IIM Amritsar admission 2025. Their offer will depend upon the candidates not accepting the offers initially.
