Structure of Examination for CUET (PG) 2025

The CUET PG Application process is to be completed only after knowing the complete CUET PG exam pattern mentioned below: 

1. You can choose a maximum of four question paper codes.
2. There would be no General Test with each paper.
3. The candidate can choose a General paper as a Subject. The comprehension part of these papers will be in English or Hindi, as you selected during registration.
4. Language papers will be in the concerned language except linguistics, which will be in English.
5. M.Tech/Higher Sciences would be in English only.
6. Acharya Papers would be in Sanskrit except for Hindu Studies, Indian Knowledge System and Baudha Darshan.
7. Humanities, Sciences and Common papers would be bilingual (English & Hindi).
8. According to the official CUET PG exam pattern, the exam will be conducted in three shifts.
9. The English version of the questions in the question papers, except languages and Acharya, will be taken as final.
10. The syllabus for the question paper codes will be available on the website.

CUET PG Marking Scheme 2025

For effective and efficient CUET PG exam preparation, you must learn about the detailed marking scheme as mentioned in the CUET PG paper pattern:

• For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded.
• For the wrong answers, one negative is deducted.
• If more than one option against any question is correct, 4 marks are awarded.
• No marks shall be deducted if any question is left unanswered or has been marked for review.
• If all the options for a question are wrong, then 4 marks are awarded to those who attempt that question.

• For admission to universities through CUET (PG)-2025, the university's existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, etc., shall apply.
• As the CUET PG eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, you must visit the University website to which you apply for their respective programs.
• You are advised to satisfy yourself before applying that you possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University you are applying to.
• Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing passing marks based on the CUET PG syllabus on the test does not entitle you to be considered for admission to the Programme unless you fulfil the Programme-wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.
