CUET BHU Eligibility Criteria 2025 for BA Courses
B. A. (Hons) Social Sciences
Before proceeding with the CUET application form 2025, you must check whether you have satisfied the BHU eligibility criteria.
Required subjects in CUET: You must have opted for Section 1A - Language Test in Hindi or English and Section 3 - General Test for admission to BHU.
Qualification: You must have completed class 12 or an equivalent exam with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
Minimum qualifying marks: You must have at least 50% aggregate marks in class 12.
Age limit: Your age should be no more than 22 years as of 01 July 2025, which means you must have been born on or after 02 July 2003.
BHU subject combination for CUET: You must have chosenthe Sanskrit subject from Section 2 in the CUET entrance exam.
Qualification: You must have passed the Madhyama Examination of BHU/Madhyama/Uttar Madhyama/Upa Shastri/Intermediate or class 12 or equivalent exam with Sanskrit as a mandatory subject.
Minimum qualifying marks: You must have secured 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
Age limit: Your age should be below 22 years as of 01 July 2025. Those who have passed a one-year certificate course in Sanskrit at BHU after passing the 10+2 examination with 50% aggregate marks can also apply for the exam.
BHU CUET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for BA. LL.B (Hons)
Required subjects in CUET: You must have opted for a Hindi or English language paper from Section 1A, Legal Studies from Section 2, and a Section 3 General test.
Qualification: As per CUET eligibility criteria for BHU, you must have completed/are appearing in the following:
Class 12 or
Equivalent (Such as 11+1, “A” level in Senior School Leaving Certificate course) examination from a recognized University of India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board (or)
Equivalent constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government. (or)
You must have completed class 12 or an equivalent exam from an equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the Government of that country to issue a qualifying certificate on successful course completion.
Those who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/ post-graduation through the Open Universities System without any essential qualification for pursuing such studies shall not be eligible for admission to a 5-year BA. LL.B. (Hons.) at BHU.
Minimum qualifying marks: 50% of total marks in the General category, 45% in the case of OBCs and 40% in the case of SCs and ST.
CUET BHU Eligibility Criteria 2025 forB.A.(Hons.) Arts
Required subjects in CUET: You must have opted for Section 1A - Language Test in Hindi or English and Section 3 - General Test.
Qualification: You must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam. For B.A. Major in Economics with minors in Mathematics/ Statistics, you must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at High School Examinations.
Minimum qualifying marks: You must have at least 50% aggregate marks in class 12.
Age limit: Your age should be no more than 22 years as of 01 July 2025, which means you must have been born on or after 02 July 2003.
CUET BHU Eligibility Criteria 2025 for B.Sc Courses
B.Sc (Hons) Maths Group
If you are seeking admission to the B.Sc (Hons) Maths Group at BHU, you must satisfy the following criteria:
Required subjects in CUET: You must have chosen Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Section 2 per the CUET exam pattern.
Qualification: Completed class 12 or equivalent exam with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects plus one optional subject from Chemistry, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Geography.
Minimum qualifying marks: You must have secured 50% aggregate marks in class 12 and have passed each of the three subjects mentioned above.
Age limit: Your age should not exceed 22 years as of 01 July 2025.
B.Sc (Hons) Biology Group
You must satisfy the following CUET BHU eligibility criteria for admission to the (Hons) Biology Group.
Required subjects in CUET: You must have opted for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from Section 2
Qualification: You must have passed class 12 or an equivalent exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects plus one optional subject from Biology, Geology, and Geography.
Minimum qualifying marks: You must have scored 50% aggregate marks in class 12 and passed each of the above-mentioned subjects.
Age limit: Your age should be no more than 22 years as of 01 July 2025.
CUET BHU Eligibility Criteria 2025 for B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture
Required subjects in CUET: You must have appeared for any of the following three subject combinations from Section 2 in the CUET exam.
Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (or)
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or)
Physics, Chemistry, and Agriculture
You are not eligible for the admission process at BHU if you do not opt for any of the subject combinations mentioned above.
Qualification: Completed 10+2/Intermediate examination in Agriculture or Science (with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology) or equivalent exam from the recognized university.
Minimum qualifying marks: A minimum score of 50% is required in the qualifying examination.
Age limit: Your minimum age should be above 16 years, and your maximum age below 25 years as of 01 July 2025.
CUET BHU Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech & B.Com Courses

Required subjects in CUET: You must have appeared for any of the following three subject combinations from Section 2 in the CUET exam.

CUET BHU Eligibility Criteria 2025 for BFA & BPA Courses
Required subjects in CUET: You must opt for Section II: Fine Arts/Visual Arts for BFA and Performing Arts for BPA courses for BHU Admission through CUET.
Minimum qualifying marks: Passed 10+2 or equivalent exam, securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Age limit:You must be at least 22 years old on 1 July 2025 for BFA courses and 35 years old on 1 July 20245 for BPA courses.
