The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore has introduced a 25% horizontal compartmentalized reservation for "Karnatak Students" for the academic year 2021-2024.
Students who have studied for more than 10 years in a recognized educational institution in Karnataka are eligible to apply for admission under this quota.
The reservation is applicable to both B.A. LLB (Hons) and LLM programs.
The university stated that those who are eligible as Karnataka students and wish to avail of the reservation must update their CLAT 2021 Application Form by selecting the "Karnataka Students" option against NLSIU, Bangalore in the reservations tab.
Also, students are advised to keep their study certificates issued by their school/s ready to be submitted at the time of counselling.

As per the official notice, the university has adopted the "NLSIU Inclusion and Expansion Plan 2021-24".
