How to Fill the CLAT OMR Sheet?
Filling the CLAT OMR sheet correctly is crucial for accurate scoring in the exam.
Read Instructions Carefully: Start by reading the instructions on the OMR sheet. Pay attention to any specific guidelines or requirements mentioned.
Use Blue or Black Pen: Use a blue or black ballpoint pen to fill the OMR sheet. The scanning system may not recognize other colours.
Marking Bubbles: Locate the corresponding question number on the OMR sheet for multiple-choice questions. There will be circles (bubbles) next to the answer choices.
Fill Bubbles: When marking your answer, fill in the circle, ensuring no stray marks or half-filled circles. Use a single, continuous stroke to fill the bubble.
One Answer Per Question: Mark only one choice for each multiple-choice question. Marking more than one choice may result in an incorrect score.
Darken the Bubble: Ensure that the marked bubble is darkened sufficiently to be recognized by the scanning machine. A lightly filled bubble may not register.
Cross-check Answers: After completing each section or the entire paper, double-check your OMR sheet to ensure the answers are marked correctly and correspond to the question numbers.
Neatness and Accuracy: Maintain neatness and accuracy when filling the OMR sheet. Avoid making stray marks or smudges that could interfere with the scanning process.
Do Not Fold or Staple: Do not fold or staple the CLAT OMR sheet. Keep it flat and undamaged to ensure accurate scanning.
Follow Time Limits: Monitor the time limits for each exam section. Ensure you have enough time to accurately transfer your answers to the OMR sheet.
Submit on Time: When the exam ends, submit your OMR sheet and any other required documents according to the CLAT 2025 exam day instructions provided by the exam invigilators.
Do Not Write on OMR Edges: Avoid writing any additional information, your name, or other markings on the edges of the OMR sheet, as this may interfere with the scanning process.
Are Calculators Allowed in CLAT?
No, calculators are generally not allowed in the CLAT exam. This is because the CLAT is designed to assess your legal reasoning, logical reasoning, mathematics, and other skills without the assistance of calculators.
The questions in the exam are structured to be answered without the need for complex calculations, and using calculators would give some individuals an unfair advantage.
Therefore, calculators are typically prohibited to maintain a level playing field and ensure fairness in the examination process. You should rely on your mental math skills and problem-solving abilities during the exam.
