CLAT 2025 Results Announced

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially announced the results for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. The examination, held on December 1, 2024, saw an impressive attendance rate of 96.33% across 141 test centers in 25 states and 4 Union Territories.

Key Highlights:

  • Top Scores: The highest marks achieved were 103.5 for the Undergraduate (UG) program and 80 for the Postgraduate (PG) program.
  • Gender and State Distribution:
    • A total of 57% of test-takers were female, 43% male, and 9 candidates identified as transgender.
    • Candidates from states like Haryana, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Karnataka featured prominently in the top percentile ranks.
  • UG Exam Structure: Comprising 116 questions across five sections, four questions were withdrawn, and three answers were updated in the final answer key.
  • PG Exam Structure: Featured 120 questions, with eight changes made in the final answer key.

Candidates can download their scorecards through their accounts on the CLAT 2025 portal, available on the Consortium's official website.

Admissions and Counseling:

The results pave the way for admissions to NLUs' integrated UG and PG law programs for the academic year 2025-26. Details regarding the counseling process will be released on December 9, 2024, at 4:00 PM.

This year's CLAT demonstrated robust participation and smooth execution, setting the stage for the next generation of legal talent to join premier institutions across India.
