Why You Should Download CAT Previous Year Papers?
The CAT exam consists of 3 sections, viz DILR, VARC, and QA, with a sectional time of 40 mins.
Each section has 22-26 questions that need to be solved in the given time. The shortage of timing and solving questions with speed and accuracy creates pressure on the candidate.

CAT 2024 Exam Pattern

- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) – 20 questions
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) – 24 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude (QA) – 22 questions
You will have a total of 2 hours (40 minutes per section) to complete 66 questions.
These include both Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Type In The Answer (TITA) questions.
While there is a negative marking for incorrect MCQs (-1 for each wrong answer), the TITA questions do not have any negative markings.
