Students who applied to bachelor's courses and cleared CUET will be shortlisted for counselling through the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). 

This transition to using CUET 2025 for admissions has provided a more equitable opportunity for applicants from all over India and reduced the number of entrance exams they need to take. 

Previously, AMU used its own university-level Admission Test to select students for admission. This changed in the year 2022, with CUET being introduced!

AMU Admission through CUET 2025

Admission to various UG courses at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will be conducted through the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUET) 2025.

With CUET's adoption of an admission process that is fair in terms of opportunity and represents the diversity of backgrounds and perspectives of its student body, the selection of new students will become even more equitable.

Counselling Portal for AMU UG Admissions

• Step 1: Visit the counselling portal created by AMU by clicking on the button below. 
• Step 2: Register yourself by filling in your email address and password to sign in. 
• Step 3: Log in to upload important documents as required. 
• Step 4: Choose course preference and CUET scores.
